Arsenal manager Unai Emery faced a very different type of press conference following his team’s win over West Ham.

The Gunners boss chalked up his first win since taking over from Arsene Wenger at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.

Emery’s side had to come from behind to beat the bottom-of-the-table Hammers after Marko Arnautovic opened the scoring.

Nacho Monreal, an own goal from Hammers debutant Issa Diop and an injury-time Danny Welbeck strike was enough to secure the points.

It wasn’t as comfortable as the 3-1 scoreline suggests but the Spanish coach was just relieved to get some points on the board following two straight losses.

Before heading in to speak to the assembled media, Emery was confronted by a different sort of questions from the club’s media department.

Arsenal’s Twitter account had reached out to supporters to collect their questions to put to the new man in charge.

They started up the #AskUnai hashtag and held their own post-match press conference with the boss based on the results.

It is believed to have been the first of its kind in the Premier League and other clubs could adopt the same approach to using social media.
