Disabled Town supporters now able to keep warm on matchdays
Disabled supporters of Swindon Town will be able to keep warm on matchdays thanks to the club's supporters' trust.
TrustSTFC has donated fifty blankets for ambulant disabled and wheelchair disabled supporters to use, the club has confirmed.
The donation is set to make a trip to the Nigel Eady County Ground a more enjoyable experience for spectators as they look to cheer Swindon to safety this season.
Neil Hutchings, Chair of TrustSTFC, said: "When the idea of providing blankets for our disabled supporters was first suggested, we didn't hesitate in offering our support.
"The weather over the past few months has been awful but that hasn't stopped these amazing fans from turning out every match to cheer on the boys.

"The Trust board was delighted to help and we hope that the blankets will continue to make a difference through the rest of the winter."
The blankets are available to collect at the Disabled Kiosk in the Don Rogers Stand and from Caroline Lane, Disability Liaison Officer on a matchday.

Caroline Lane said: "Our Ambulant Disabled and Wheelchair Disabled supporters have been incredible through all types of weather so far this season and at times it's been challenging conditions at the County Ground.
"With the support of Neil and the Trust, we have been able to come up with a solution that matches all of our visions and ultimately will help keep our supporters warm through these cold months.
"Thank you to everybody involved in this project."
