Manchester City travel to Paris on Wednesday evening in a hugely important clash in the Champions League.

Pep Guardiola's side make the trip to the French capital in a precarious position and know defeat could leave their hopes of qualifying for the knockout rounds hanging by a thread.

City have only managed to amass eight points from their opening six Champions League ties and defeats at Sporting CP and Juventus, as well as a three-goal collapse in their home draw with Feyenoord has left them with work to do to stay in the competition.

However, PSG are having troubles of their own in Europe this season and are currently outside of the qualifying places ahead of the visit of City.

Luis Enrique's side are a point behind City and defeat could leave them in a perilous position heading into the final league phase fixtures next week.

If City are to emerge from the Parc des Princes with three points, though, they will have to do it without a number of key players.

Here's a look at the current City injury situation ahead of the game.

Jeremy Doku

Injury: Unknown

What we know: Doku was one of the stars of the 6-0 win over Ipswich but has picked up an issue and has not travelled to Paris for the game against PSG

Potential return date: Unknown

Nathan Ake

Injury: Unknown

What we know: Ake was not involved at Ipswich with the club confirming he was out injured. It is unclear what the issue is or when he might be fit to return to action but the hope at City will be the problem is not serious.

Potential return date: Unknown

Oscar Bobb

Injury: Fractured leg

What we know: Bobb has not featured for City this season having picked up a serious issue in pre-season. But he is closing in on a comeback in what will be a welcome addition to the squad. Guardiola said this month: “[He is] training with the team partially. That’s good news for us. It was a fractured bone. Now that is healed, he’s fine but good news is he’s back.”

Potential return date: February 2025

Rodri

Injury: Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL)

What we know: Rodri has sustained a serious knee injury and will be out until the middle of next year. He has spoken of his desire to play again this season, possibly in the Club World Cup. The Spaniard has travelled to Paris to support the squad, though.

Potential return date: June 2025
