Dominant Ryde C continue winning streak at table tennis

Ryde C's winning streak continues in Division One table tennis.

The team defeated third-placed Havenstreet A 8-2.

Paul Rainford, the player of the match, remained unbeaten, with teammate Ryan Cates also winning all three of his games.

Ryde B also secured a comfortable 9-1 victory over Newport Vics B.

Alex Rorke was named player of the match, while Newport's Charlie Stapeley was the only team member to win against Bryce Wilson.

In Division Two, the Ryde Revellers maintained their lead with a 10-0 win over the Shorwell Spinners.

Spike Hughes was player of the match, winning all games in straight sets.

Havenstreet B continued their strong form with an 8-2 win over Newport Vics B.

The player of the match was Dave Rendle, who was unbeaten.

Newport Vics C achieved a 7-3 victory over the Ryde Quintet.

William Paul was the top player for Ryde, securing two wins and a doubles victory with teammate Des Wiltshire.

In Division Three, the St Lawrence Lizards and Wroxall Warriors are tied at the top, with the Ryde Retailers close behind.

The Ryde Frogs put up a strong fight against Wroxall, but the match ended 6-4 to Wroxall.
