MORTON boss Dougie Imrie has been named Glen's Vodka Championship Manager of the Month for December.

The Ton supremo has guided the Cappielow side through a seven game unbeaten run in the Championship, the longest current run in the whole of the SPFL, that has seen them move five points clear of Dunfermline in the relegation play-offs, with a game in hand.

In that time, Ton have kept clean sheets against title chasing Livingston and Ayr United, whilst beating Raith Rovers, Dunfermline and Partick Thistle.

It is the eighth time that Imrie has scooped up the league accolade, whilst he's yet to lose a league match in the month of December in little over three years in charge of the Cappielow side.

Despite having an already stacked mantlepiece, his latest award could well be the sweetest of them all as he guides the Sinclair Street side down a new path with a new brand of football, with the one of youngest line-ups in the division.

Ton missed out on the chance to make it eight games unbeaten after their first clash of 2025, where they were due to welcome Hamilton Accies to Cappielow, was postponed.

He'll look to try and keep that momentum going when he looks to make it three wins out of three games against Raith Rovers, who are set to first foot Cappielow this Sunday in their Championship clash that has been moved back 24 hours.
