Douglas Luiz transfer stance emerges as two clubs make move to sign former Aston Villa star
Two Premier League clubs have reportedly expressed an interest in signing Douglas Luiz from Juventus.
The former Aston Villa midfielder has struggled to settle at Juventus and could leave the Serie A club this month. Sky Sports claim that a couple of Premier League sides want to the Brazil international, who is 'very open' to returning to England.
Juventus are considering loan plus obligation offers for Luiz after his £42m arrival in June. Villa signed Enzo Barrenechea and Samuel Iling-Junior from the Old Lady as part of a separate transaction.

Both players were then sent out on loan to Bologna and Valencia respectively. Iling-Junior has been used sparingly at Bologna, while Barrenechea has started 10 league matches for Valencia this term and is now working under former West Brom boss Carlos Corberan.
Luiz, meanwhile, has only started two Serie A matches for Juventus this campaign after failing to make an impression on Thiago Motta. He missed a total of 11 matches in all competitions due to a muscle problem, including the Champions League trip to Villa Park back in November.
After Luiz's move to Juventus, Villa moved to sign Ross Barkley and Amadou Onana to bolster Emery's midfield options. Youri Tielemans joined on a free transfer in the summer of 2023 following the expiration of his contract with Leicester City.
