Paul Dummett is ready for his Carlisle United debut this weekend - while Terell Thomas and Ethan Robson are also in the reckoning.

New signing Dummett, who was involved in a car accident last Friday, has trained fully this week, says head coach Mike Williamson.

The former Newcastle United man looks set to come into the frame for Saturday's trip to Fleetwood Town.

And in a further boost, Williamson says defender Thomas and midfielder Robson are both fit and available after several weeks on the sidelines.

On Dummett, Williamson said: "He's trained fully and he's fine.

"I've known Dummy a long time, and when you know him - he's just trained like Paul Dummett does.

"Even when I saw him last Saturday, the day after the accident, he wasn't fazed, and he's come in and been exactly the same this week."

Both Thomas and Robson could also be in the squad after recovering from hamstring injuries.

Defender Thomas has been out since suffering his injury on international duty with Saint Lucia in November.

And midfielder Robson has also not played since early November.

"Both have trained really well, and we're really, really happy to have them back," Williamson told the News & Star.

"They're both not ready for a start, but they will be ready for some minutes.

"As long as they have a clean week this week and barring any setbacks, they should be able to be involved in some capacity."

Williamson added that Callum Guy is continuing to build up his fitness with gym work, after his recent return to the club after illness.

But the head coach is yet to say when the midfielder will be considered ready for a return to action.

Dummett, Thomas and Robson are set to be joined in Saturday's squad by new signing Josh Williams.

It means all ten of Carlisle's January signings could all be in the squad for the first time, as the Blues try to bridge the seven-point gap to League Two safety.
