Dundee return to Mexico for ANOTHER transfer thriller as Victor 'Chespi' Lopez set bring his tricks

Ambitious Dundee are in talks with Monterrey over a loan for Victor ‘Chespi’ Lopez.

The winger is currently on-loan at fellow Mexican side Queretaro but could now be recalled and sent to the Scottish Premiership. The 21-year-old is a Mexican under-21 international The Dark Blues signed a strategic partnership with Monterrey at the end of last year. Dundee have already signed midfielder Cezar Garza on-loan from the Liga MX club this month.

Garza made an impressive debut in Thursday’s draw with Rangers. He could now be joined by his Monterrey under-23 teammate Lopez, if an agreement can be reached and a work permit issued.Dundee boss Tony Docherty is no stranger to the Mexican market. Docherty signed Antonio Portales, who is currently out injured, from Atlante and he has been a big part of his first-team over the past two seasons. They also signed striker Diego Pineda at the same time but he has since returned to sign for Mexican Second Division side Venados.
