Dusan Vlahovic has already informed Ruben Amorim as Man United get summer transfer option
Manchester United enquired about Dusan Vlahovic during the winter transfer window, according to reports.
The Reds had been tipped to sign a new striker in the window to bolster Ruben Amorim's attacking options following the struggles to Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee this season. The pair have five goals combined in the Premier League.
Vlahovic would have been a breath of fresh air for the United squad for the second half of the season. He has scored 13 goals in 28 appearances across all competitions for Juventus this season and has just 18 months left to run on his contract.

Having opted against spending to sign a new attacker as a short-term fix in January, United are likely to have a host of options in the summer. Vlahovic will surely be one of them with his contract up in the summer of 2026 and Juve will look at cashing in should if new terms aren't agreed.
In an interview with RSI (via Calciomercato) in November, the forward explained to potential suitors what tactics best suit his style of play in a clear hint to what he considers to be his best position.
"Yes I like to play with another striker on the side. I get on well, but it also depends on the coach," he said. "Definitely, it is a bit easier because [Aleksandar] Mitrovic is a strong player who plays a lot with his back to goal and engaging in aerial duels and I can exploit my qualities.
"It's also because coach Dragan Stojkovic didn't force me to do so many defensive tasks. And for a player like me, for my frame, honestly I can't run so much. Because then I am not fresh in the final third."
United only welcomed two signings through the door in Patrick Dorgu and youngster Ayden Heaven. Despite the quiet window, the Manchester Evening News understands the hierarchy and Ruben Amorim are pleased with their winter transfer dealings.
