The Eagles won Super Bowl 52 in 2018 on the backs of quarterback Nick Foles and then-head coach Doug Pederson. Foles, who was the backup quarterback to Carson Wentz to begin the year, took over starting duties in Week 15 after Wentz tore his ACL amid an MVP-caliber season.
Philadelphia has played in the Super Bowl once since, losing to the Chiefs two years ago in Super Bowl 57.

Yes. The Eagles won Super Bowl 52 against the Patriots in 2018.
Quarterback Nick Foles won the Super Bowl MVP that year after throwing three touchdown passes and catching one himself in the iconic "Philly Special" trick play.
Philadelphia also won three NFL championships before the first Super Bowl in 1967: back-to-back titles in 1948 and 1949 as well as a 1960 title.

When was the last time the Eagles won the Super Bowl?
Philadelphia's Super Bowl 52 victory over the Patriots is its only (and therefore, most recent) Super Bowl win.
The Eagles also appeared in the Super Bowl two years ago but lost to the Chiefs in Super Bowl 57.

Entering Super Bowl 59 this year, Philadelphia has been to four NFL title games and holds a 1-3 record in Super Bowl matchups.
The Eagles lost in each of their first two Super Bowl appearances. Their first trip to the Big Game was in Super Bowl 25 in 1981, which they lost to the Raiders, 27-10. Twenty-four years later, they made it back to the Super Bowl under now-Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, though they lost again, 24-21, to Tom Brady and the Patriots.
In 2018, Philadelphia got its revenge against New England in Super Bowl 52 to win the franchise's first NFL title since 1960.
Two years ago, the Eagles won a fourth NFC title before losing to the Chiefs in Super Bowl 57. They'll be looking to exact their revenge once more in this year's championship meeting with Kansas City.
