Which Eagles players are free agents after this season? Roster, depth chart breakdown
The Philadelphia Eagles are in the Super Bowl for the second time in three years. They will look to earn revenge against the Kansas City Chiefs, who beat them in Super Bowl 57, while denying Patrick Mahomes and Co. a chance for a historic three-peat.
Win or lose, the Eagles will be looking to make it back to Super Bowl 60 as general manager Howie Roseman looks to shape Philadelphia into the Kansas City dynasty's top challenger.
The good news for Roseman? The Eagles don't have an overwhelming amount of free agents. They are tied for the fifth-fewest league-wide, so Philadelphia will retain strong continuity with its Super Bowl team either way.
Still, the team will need to plug some potential holes, most notably the one that could be created by pending free-agent linebacker Zack Baun, who figures to be one of the best players available in free agency.
Here's what to know about the Eagles' free agents and their potential needs entering the 2025 offseason.

Eagles free agents for 2025
The Eagles are set to have 18 total free agents in 2025. Sixteen of those players will be unrestricted free agents, so they will be able to test the market if Philadelphia doesn't extend them or slap them with either the transition or franchise tag.
Philadelphia's remaining two free agents include one restricted free agent (RFA) and one exclusive rights free agent (ERFA). That will give the Eagles the right of first refusal for their services.
Below is a full list of the Eagles' pending free agents, per Spotrac.com. Players are unrestricted free agents unless otherwise noted.

Eagles depth chart, roster breakdown for 2025
Only four NFL teams have fewer free agents than the Eagles' 18 for 2025. They are the Buffalo Bills (14), Jacksonville Jaguars (15), Seattle Seahawks (16) and New England Patriots (17). As such, Philadelphia will retain strong continuity as it looks to make it to a third Super Bowl in four years.
The Eagles have a few starters set to hit free agency, including the aforementioned Baun, right guard Mekhi Becton and productive defensive linemen Josh Sweat and Milton Williams. That said, they won't be enduring too many losses at any one position group, which should allow Roseman to quickly replace any players the team should lose.
Below is a look at how Philadelphia's roster will look during the 2025 offseason along with the key free agents the team could lose at each position.

Eagles practice squad
The Eagles have 17 players on their practice squad. They will no longer be tied to the roster a week after Super Bowl 59.
Philadelphia can re-sign those players to reserve/future contracts that allow them to join the team's 90-man roster at the start of the new league year. However, the Eagles are not guaranteed to return those players to the roster until those deals are signed.

Eagles' biggest offseason needs
What could be the Eagles' biggest offseason needs? Here's a breakdown of the team's top potential targets for the offseason based on their current depth chart.
Linebacker: Zack Baun blossomed into an All-Pro player after being an unheralded offseason signing. The Eagles will look to retain him but will need to be prepared to pivot if they can't afford to keep him. This position will be of particular importance given that Nakobe Dean suffered a significant knee injury in the playoffs against the Green Bay Packers.
Defensive line: Josh Sweat and Milton Williams combined for 13 sacks during the 2024 NFL season. The Eagles will need to retain one (or both) of them. If not, they will need to find players who can generate pressure both on the edge and up the middle.
Offensive guard: The Eagles have recent draft picks at guard, Tyler Steen and Trevor Keegan, ready to step into the starting right guard role should Mekhi Becton sign elsewhere this offseason. That said, the team will need to replenish its depth at the position and Roseman has never been shy about bolstering the trenches.
Offensive tackle: Speaking of the trenches, the Eagles need to find a successor for Lane Johnson and are set to see Fred Johnson and Jack Driscoll hit free agency. Drafting a tackle to battle Darian Kinnard for the swing tackle role should probably be a forward-looking priority for the team.
Wide receiver: Parris Campbell is set to be a free agent and the Eagles could use some competition for Jahan Dotson, who is currently the team's No. 3 receiver.
Running back: Kenneth Gainwell is set to be a free agent. Will Shipley may be ready to back up Saquon Barkley, but a third running back will be needed if Gainwell looks for a fresh opportunity.
Long snapper: Rick Lovato is a free agent this offseason. He has been the Eagles' long snapper since 2016, so Philadelphia will likely look to re-sign him.
