East Kilbride will take the game to Falkirk, says boss but side have two key men missing for Scottish Cup tie
Mick Kennedy insists East Kilbride will take the game to Falkirk in Monday night's Scottish Cup tie.
The Kilby gaffer is hoping to make it a hat-trick of cup upsets this season when the Bairns come calling to K-Park, having already knocked out Championship opposition in Ayr United and Airdrie in the SPFL Trust Trophy this term.
Kennedy took in Falkirk's 1-0 win over Queen's Park last Friday night in the Championship before EK's weekend clash with Bo'ness United was beaten by Storm Bert.

While Kennedy was impressed by what he saw, he insists the hosts won't sit back and will try to impose themselves on John McGlynn's men.
He said: "On Friday night I watched Falkirk play Queen's Park and I thought they were excellent. It was everything I expected from them but we will have a different approach to Queen's Park. They probably sat off them a wee bit and gave them a lot of space, whereas we will be a lot more aggressive.
"Now I've seen them live a few times, it gives us a clear insight into their rotations that they work. Sometimes the benefit of playing a team like Falkirk is you know exactly how they are going to play - that's not to say it makes it easy - but they are so well-drilled and well-organised that there is a clear structure in everything they do.
"It is up to us to stop them and impose ourselves on the game. Our approach won't change. We will be very aggressive on the press, we will try and dominate the ball. We are not going to sit in or be direct.
"We will tweak things slightly in terms of how we press but it will be very similar to what we've done previously.
"We will try to limit individual errors as much as we can because at this level you will get murdered if you don't, and we'll try to take our moments when they come along.
"Along with Aberdeen, they will be the best team we've faced this season and a different test to what we've had."
Kilby will be without skipper Jack Leitch and defender Jordan McGregor, both of whom played a big part in the win over Ayr earlier this month.
Kennedy added: "We've got Jack Leitch and Jordan McGregor suspended which is a big blow.
"It is a bit of a ridiculous situation. That's Falkirk just entering the competition whereas we have already played three rounds and we've got players suspended.
"It is madness and a ridiculous rule. It is just something we need to deal with.
"We will miss Jack's quality and aggression in the middle of the pitch and Jordan's physicality.
"Falkirk aren't an overly aggressive side and they don't have a lot of height in their team so we won't miss Jordan's strength in terms of his aerial ability because I don't think the ball will be in the air a lot."
Goalkeeper Matty Connelly is expected to be back after being recalled on an emergency loan last week by parent club Motherwell due to Krisztián Hegyi undergoing a non-football related procedure.
"I believe Matty will be back," said Kennedy. "The worst case scenario would be that he is away with Motherwell on Saturday but we will get him back for Monday night.
"It is just a short-term one because their goalkeeper had some work done.
"The conversation I had with Stuart Kettlewell about it was that it was only a short-term fix, so we believe he'll be with us for Monday night."
