If you thought Premier League manages don’t get very long in the job, consider this from Egypt where Zamalek FC have just sacked their TWENTY THIRD boss in four years.

That’s an average of just over two months each in the job and to be fair, the latest incumbent has lasted an impressive three months.

Ehab Galal has been binned off by the Egyptian club’s trigger happy president Mortada Mansour after three straight league defeats.

It leaves them third in the table but a whopping 25 points behind league leaders and archrivals Al Ahly, who have a game in hand as well.

Galal’s last game in charge was a 2-1 defeat at the hands of visiting Al Ittihad, which proved the final straw for Mansour, who has now hired and sacked 23 managers since taking charge of the club in April 2014.

Galal was only brought in in January to replace Montenegrin coach Nebojsa “Nebo” Jovovic. Oh well, onto the next one…
