After her landmark U.S. Open win in 2021, Emma Raducanu became one of the most-wanted sportswomen in the world for sponsors, becoming the face of Dior, Porsche, Tiffany, British Airways, Vodafone and Evian and making a fortune in the process.

But as the Brit just crashed out in the first round of the Singapore Open and announced she had once again split with her coach her reputation as the go-to sponsor may be starting to shift to others.

Also being knocked out of the Australian Open in the third round in a straight sets defeat to Iga Swiatek earlier this month. Raducanu has struggled to regain her form, picking up various injuries causing her to plummet down the rankings.

Sponsorship is a very lucrative business, so it's no shock to see a new generation of stars stepping up to the place and making a name for themselves as sponsorship material, with Emma reported to have made a staggering £9.6 million from sponsorship deals alone in 2024 according to Forbes.

So it’s no surprise to see the next generation of rising tennis stars leaping ahead of Raducanu in the race to land the big sponsorship deal with her ranking now sitting at 56 a far cry from her career best at number 10.

In recent weeks, Olympic Tennis Champion Zheng Qinwen was snapped up as a Dior global ambassador with the French fashion house stating Zheng "embodies the elegance and boldness of Dior style, a femininity in perpetual motion."

The 17-year-old Mirra Andreeva who has shot up the rankings into the top 15, may be next on the list to scoop some major sponsorships after a second-week run at the Australian Open.

Taking to social media she announced her sponsorship with luxury watch brand Rolex, putting her alongside a star-studded cast of Coco Gauff, Jannik Sinner, and Iga Swiatek who all work with the brand.
