ENIC increase share in Tottenham Hotspur with £11.7m capital boost

Tottenham's owners ENIC have increased their holding slightly in the Premier League club with a capital share allotment of £11.7million.

Spurs have confirmed on Companies House on Wednesday a statement of capital following an allotment of shares on December 31 last month 2024 to the tune of £11,740,558.15 On the club's website, it has been confirmed that the percentage of ENIC's ownership of the club increased slightly by 0.33% last month with that move.

The information on the site read: "Of the total issued ordinary share capital of Tottenham Hotspur Limited, ENIC SPORTS INC. (ENIC) ownership is 86.91% (from 86.58%) to reflect shares allotted in December 2024 in respect of operational expansion. ENIC also owns the one THL convertible A share.

"Mr Daniel Levy and certain members of his family are potential beneficiaries of discretionary trusts which ultimately own 29.88% of the share capital of ENIC. A discretionary trust, of which certain members of Mr J Lewis's family are potential beneficiaries, ultimately owns 70.12% of the share capital of ENIC."

That last time a statement of capital raised money for the club came in 2022 when Tottenham drew down £110.6million of £150million offered by ENIC which would increase their ownership percentage.
