Enzo Fernandez and Noni Madueke have dropped early team news hints ahead of Chelsea's clash against West Ham. The Blues will host the Hammers at Stamford Bridge on Monday evening as they both look to climb the Premier League table.

Chelsea head into the London derby off the back of a 3-1 defeat to Manchester City. Enzo Maresca's side leapt out of the gates, but they couldn't capitalise on their early dominance at the Etihad Stadium.

Meanwhile, West Ham showed great character in a 1-1 draw with Aston Villa last weekend. Despite some mixed results since replacing Julen Lopetegui in the dugout, Graham Potter has made good progress – and he'll be eager to get revenge on his former employer.

Nevertheless, Fernandez and Madueke have posted pre-match graphic previews of the West Ham fixture to their respective Instagram stories. Historically, this suggests that the duo will be involved in some capacity.

Speaking to reporters ahead of the heavyweight clash, Maresca confirmed Chelsea will be without three players. The Blues boss said: "Exactly the same as the last game. Wes [Fofana] is out, Romeo [Lavia] is out and Benoit [Badiashile] is out. The rest are okay."

Maresca was also quizzed on Chelsea's goalkeeper situation, with Robert Sanchez struggling to impress in recent weeks. The Italian said: "The good thing is; any decision I take, I feel good because every time Filip [Jorgensen] has played since we started, he has done well. Filip or Robert, we will see but any decision will be okay."

On the fans' discontent with Sanchez, Maresca added: "The only thing I can say is that we need the fans. We need them, the players need them. Understanding that sometimes, for different reasons, they cannot be happy with the players or with the manager in general.

"But for sure, we need their support because they have to trust our direction. If I see something I don't like, I am the first one who doesn't accept that. They can be happy in terms of the way they try to work every day, the way they try to embrace all the situations we have had this season. I am sure at the end, we are going to be there fighting for something."

Then, on what to expect from West Ham under Potter, Maresca said: "They are very aggressive. I watched the four or five games with Graham in charge. You can see they are trying to be very aggressive, even in the last game against Aston Villa. It will be a tough game, like always. In terms of tactical, we still have two days to prepare the game, so we are going to see."

With that being said, Maresca will be relying on the likes of Fernandez and Madueke to step up and fire Chelsea to victory. While a few players have posted pre-match previews of the West Ham game to their Instagram stories, it does not necessarily mean they will definitely start or, at the very least, play.
