Chelsea are in a poor run of form in the Premier League. The Blues have drawn three of their last five top-flight matches and lost the other two - meaning they are without a win in more than a month now.

There is a bit of time until Chelsea face their next test with Wolves, who have statistically got the Premier League's leakiest defence, coming to Stamford Bridge on Monday evening. It is simply a must-win for the Blues, who have been dragged into a fight for the top four this season; with Newcastle United's victory on Wednesday evening seeing Chelsea drop out of the Champions League places.

On Monday evening, we could see the return of Trevoh Chalobah to the Chelsea side after the 25-year-old defender was recalled from his loan spell at Crystal Palace on Wednesday. Injuries to Wesley Fofana and Benoit Badiashile have forced the Blues' hand somewhat in the January transfer window.

A number of options were considered but the club came to the decision that recalling Chalobah was the most sensible and logical one of the lot. While 18-year-old defender Josh Acheampong remains very highly rated by those within Chelsea, using him alongside Levi Colwill for potentially the remainder of the season may be unwise.

Enzo Maresca will be considering his options in the back-line ahead of Chelsea's match with Wolves - meaning we could see a new-look defence yet again. The last time Maresca named an unchanged defence in the Premier League was way back on November 3 when Chelsea drew with Manchester United at Old Trafford, a week after the Blues edged past Newcastle at Stamford Bridge.

While Chelsea did not look great defensively against Bournemouth on Tuesday night, it was their attack that got the headlines. The Blues should have killed off the Cherries in the first-half in SW6 with a number of golden opportunities to make it 2-0 going to waste.

Bournemouth then fought back to be 2-1 up and it looked as if Andoni Iraola's men were going to claim all three points but Reece James' 95th minute free-kick ensured Chelsea's third draw in five Premier League matches. "It was probably one of our best first-halves of the season," Maresca explained at full-time.

"The way we were playing on the ball and off the ball, the way we created so many chances, we had around 15 shots. The first-half has to finish with a different score because at least 2-0 was what we deserved.

"Then in the second-half, after the penalty, we dropped a little bit and we probably need to understand the reason why. The feeling is like a little bit of shame because when you play the way you played in the first-half, where we played really, really good, you need to be clinical."

Maresca could be tempted to make some alterations to his attacking line when Wolves come to town. In the last five Premier League matches, the Blues have registered 85 shots and only scored with four of them.

One potential change could see Joao Felix being introduced. The Portugal international has only started in the Premier League three times this season and all three of those appearances have come from the left-hand side. Felix's more natural position is in the No.10 role but with a certain Cole Palmer occupying the position for the majority of the time, it has become difficult for the Portuguese to stake his claim in the Chelsea setup.

In fact, Felix and Palmer have only shared the pitch for 308 minutes in total this season - and that is spread across all competitions. "The only thing I've said since the start of this season is that it is difficult to play him [Felix] with so many attacking players," Maresca said recently.

"In my idea it means that if Joao plays, it means Cole doesn't play. Or, if Joao plays he has to play with Cole together, but it depends on the game. For me, it's quite easy; we have three players but they are more or less similar with Cole, Joao and Christopher Nkunku.

"Joao played some games, Christo also played and they both started against Ipswich and Southampton, Leicester they played. Some games they can both play together, but not every game because every game is a bit different."

If Felix was to play alongside Palmer, then it would likely be with the former playing on the left wing with Maresca all but ruling out seeing the latter on the right-hand side again anytime soon. Felix simply has to be in consideration to come into the XI for the visit of Wolves. If not now - when?
