Europa League table 2024-25: Latest standings, fixtures and results
The Europa League is now poised for its final round of the League Phase.
Tottenham took a major step towards automatic qualification for the round of 16 as Spurs beat Hoffenheim 3-2 away from home in another dramatic game. If they beat Elfsborg next week, Spurs will finish in the top eight.
Manchester United leapfrogged Spurs after a last-gasp win over Rangers in a huge ‘Battle of Britain’ at Old Trafford. Rangers now need a point at home to Royale Union Saint-Gilloise to secure a play-off spot.
Like in the Champions League this season, the teams who finish in the top eight will reach the round of 16, which begins in March.
Teams who finish between ninth and 24th will have to contest a two-legged knockout round next month.
Those who finish between 25th and 36th will be eliminated from European competition entirely.
