Evan Ferguson has already dropped Brighton transfer hint amid Arsenal and Chelsea links
Striker Evan Ferguson continues to be linked with a move away from Brighton amid links to Chelsea and Arsenal.
Ferguson has been widely tipped to be one of the best young strikers in the Premier League, with the 20-year-old scoring 22 goals across the previous two campaigns. However, this season the Republic of Ireland international has just one goal to his name for the Seagulls.
Despite failing to find the back of the net as often as the previous two seasons, it has not stopped rumours claiming that Arsenal and Chelsea are interested in signing the striker. In fact, an update has emerged on Ferguson's future suggesting that something is about to happen.

Fabrizio Romano has reported that Ferguson is expected to leave Brighton before the transfer window closes on February 3, but on a loan deal. It has been claimed that clubs from the Premier League as well as France and Germany have also made an effort to sign the striker.
Ferguson has not often spoken about his future, but he did so last season. The striker did not give much away when asked what could happen with his future at Brighton.
"Whatever I say now, it's never going to be right because you don't know what's going to happen," Ferguson told ESPN last May. "So I don't know, I couldn't tell you."
Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler was recently asked about Ferguson's future at the Amex Stadium amid links he could sign for the likes of Arsenal or Chelsea. Hurzeler admitted he was unsure what the future may hold for the striker.
"Let's see what happens," Hurzeler told reporters last week, via The Argus.
"In the end in our offensive line there are still some players, not on the highest level, still some players suffering with small issues.
"Therefore we have to wait. Also, Evan is not fit yet so we still have some days until the window is closed and until then we have to figure out what is the situation at the moment, what do we need for the rest of the season and then also what do the players want and then it's about making the decision together."
