Everton supporters asked to play their part against Tottenham as Goodison Park celebrated
Iconic Everton shirts will be on sale in the club shop, supporter groups will hold aloft special banners, and legendary goalscorer Dixie Dean will feature on the programme as the Blues celebrate ‘retro’ day on Sunday. The match with Tottenham Hotspur has been designated for the themed occasion as part of efforts to celebrate the final season at historic Goodison Park.
Fans are encouraged to participate in the occasion by wearing their old Blues tops to the match.
The event will be marked inside and outside the ground, with Everton Heritage Society hosting a special display celebrating retro matchdays at Goodison, while classic shirts will be on display and for sale in St Luke’s Church before kick-off.

Supporters will also have the chance to have their photo taken with a replica of the FA Cup.
Inside the ground the Toffee Lady will be handing out sweets, the corner flags will feature past Blues crests, and the contestants taking part in the half-time Hit the Bar competition will have the opportunity of winning a shirt signed by members of the title winning teams of the 1980s.
The retro theme follows that of ‘the originals’ against Aston Villa on Wednesday night, with more themed matchdays planned for the rest of the campaign.
