Arsenal did not make any signings in the January transfer window.

The Gunners were linked with the likes of Benjamin Sesko, Ollie Watkins and Martin Zubimendi but no player arrived through the doors of Emirates Stadium. Mikel Arteta had insisted the club were "prepared" to be active, but with the window now shut the Spaniard must make do with what he has.

Kai Havertz is the only fit senior striker at the club due to Gabriel Jesus' injury, while Bukayo Saka remains out with a serious hamstring injury. It remains to be seen if the Gunners' lack of activity will come back to bite them as they challenge for the Premier League, Champions League and Carabao Cup.

A few youngsters were moved on during the window, however, with Josh Robinson the first to go as he was sold to Wigan Athletic, ending the 20-year-old defender's nine-year stay at the Gunners. Elsewhere, one young winger was recalled from loan while a handful of other youngsters secured temporary deals.
