Enzo Maresca could welcome a few new faces to Chelsea before the transfer window slams shut. While the Italian leads the Blues into battle against West Ham at Stamford Bridge, he'll be hoping his higher-ups are working hard to wrap up a few deals.

Speaking to reporters ahead of the clash, Maresca was asked whether he expects any signings on deadline day. Keeping his cards close to his chest, the Blues boss said: "You can expect players to arrive and you can expect players to be leaving.

"It is like this in this moment. I don't have any ideas about the ones that can leave and the ones that can arrive. Anything can happen. For me, the main focus is on 48 hours, the game is the main focus and the most important thing."

So, with that being said, football.london has looked at what business Chelsea could wrap up before the 11pm deadline.

Ins

Alejandro Garnacho: Chelsea remain interested in Alejandro Garnacho, football.london understands, and a move on deadline day is by no means out of the equation at the time of writing. While the Blues are keen on the Manchester United winger, there have not been any advanced negotiations as of yet.

Liam Delap: Chelsea could do with another striker. The West Londoners are long-time admirers of Delap, football.london understands. It's believed that it could be difficult to lure the 21-year-old striker away from Portman Road this month, with Kieran McKenna's side embroiled in a relegation scrap, and nor will it be cheap in any case.

Nico O'Reilly: Could Chelsea pull off another Cole Palmer-type move? According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea would be prepared to pay Manchester City an 'important fee' for Nico O'Reilly. The report states the Premier League champions are 'hesitant' to have a buyback clause inserted into a potential deal.

Gregor Kobel: Chelsea need a new goalkeeper. According to German newspaper Bild, Chelsea are said to be 'significantly intensifying' their efforts to sign Kobel. The report claims the Blues are prepared to pay up to €70m (£58.2m) for the 27-year-old shot-stopper.

Outs

Christopher Nkunku: Last month, football.london reported that Bayern Munich were interested in signing Nkunku. While Mathys Tel has been heavily linked with an exit from the Allianz Arena, the Blues did not discuss or offer the 27-year-old forward as part of a potential swap deal.

Axel Disasi: Tottenham Hotspur will not be signing Axel Disasi on deadline day, football.london understands. That said, Aston Villa remain interested in the 26-year-old defender.

Joao Felix: Aston Villa are also interested in signing Felix, football.london understands, with Unai Emery said to be a huge admirer. While the Premier league outfit are keen, they face tough competition from AC Milan for the 25-year-old forward's signature.

It's understood that Chelsea want £60m for Felix – an asking price which Aston Villa are currently unwilling to meet. The valuation could also price the Italian giants out of a move.

Ben Chilwell: Chilwell looks set to join Crystal Palace on loan until the end of the season, subject to a medical, football.london understands. The 29-year-old defender, who joined Chelsea for £45m from Leicester City in 2020, has played just 45 minutes across all competitions this season.

Carney Chukwuemeka: Chukwuemeka is set to join Borussia Dortmund on loan until the end of the season, football.london understands. The 21-year-old midfielder is expected to complete a temporary move to the German giants in the coming hours as he looks to play more regular first-team football.

Aaron Anselmino: According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea have agreed to send Aaron Anselmino on loan to Olympique Marseille. The Blues signed the 19-year-old defender from Boca Juniors in the summer for £17m before sending him back to his boyhood club on loan until the end of December.

Anselmino has been involved in first-team training since returning to Cobham, but Enzo Maresca has yet to give him his debut. Romano adds that the ball is now in Chelsea's court as they decide how to manage their final loan spots.
