The January transfer window has closed and Chelsea's winter business is complete.
It was not as busy as people predicted at Stamford Bridge, with the Blues only making two real first-team moves. The recall of Trevoh Chalobah from his loan at Crystal Palace is as big as got for the Stamford Bridge side, with his return causing controversy and putting pressure on the sporting directors.
Elsewhere, despite links to Alejandro Garnacho, Kobbie Mainoo, Jamie Gittens, and Marc Guehi, there was little to shout about at SW6. 2025 promises to be a big year for the club with more plans for the summer but Enzo Maresca will have to make do with what he has for now. Youngster Mathis Amougou did join from Saint-Etienne, although the 19-year-old is one for the future.
