Middlesbrough completed two incoming signings on transfer deadline day as Samuel Iling-Junior and Kelechi Iheanacho arrived on loan to bolster Michael Carrick's attacking options.

Despite attempts to strengthen their midfield and defence, Boro were ultimately unable to add any further additions before the window closed. But it was still an incredibly busy window by January's usual standards, with six new signings in total and nine outgoings, five of which were first-team players.
