Every Hull City transfer under Acun Ilicali's ownership with incredible 61 deals in three years
Hull City owner Acun Ilicali is celebrating his third anniversary since taking over the club from the Allam family, and three years on from that Wednesday evening back in January 2022, it's fair to say it's been an eventful journey so far.
Ilicali burst onto the scene in a blaze of publicity - and pyrotechnics - as City, who were struggling at the wrong end of the Championship table in their first season back in the Championship, beat Blackburn Rovers 2-0 in front of a buoyant MKM Stadium crowd.
Off the pitch, the Tigers have done a sterling job of re-engaging a disillusioned fan base, regularly filling the MKM Stadium and attracting average crowds in excess of 20,000, but on the pitch, it's been a mixed bag.

Ilicali inherited a side under Grant McCann battling hard in the Championship after winning promotion the season before but opted to dispense with the Ulsterman and bring in Shota Arveladze.
The hugely popular Georgian lasted until later that year when he was sacked after a 3-0 loss at Swansea City, and Liam Rosenior was ultimately brought in after Andy Dawson's first caretaker spell in charge, and his appointment sparked a recovery for City, surviving that season before going on to enjoy a fine campaign last term, which ultimately ended in disappointment with the Tigers failing to make the top six with a squad widely regarded as their best in recent seasons.
Out went Rosenior in the summer, with Tim Walter signed to deliver Ilicali's dream of an attractive, attacking style of play, but that failed to materialise, and after a poor start to the season and City languishing again at the bottom end of the Championship, he was sacked after a poor defeat to rivals Sheffield Wednesday where fans demanded change.
Walter was critical of the club's slow recruitment last summer, with the majority of their new arrivals signed after the final pre-season friendly of the summer, somewhat ironically against Ruben Selles' Reading, who won convincingly.
The German was replaced by Selles after a brief spell in caretaker charge for Dawson, with the popular Spaniard charged with recovering City's position inside the bottom three of the Championship and guiding the Tigers to safety with the aim of plotting a play-off campaign next term.
Away from the pitch, there have been changes behind the scenes in recent months, with hugely respected former head of recruitment, Lee Darnbrough, quitting to join Stoke City before Jared Dublin arrived in his place, who was at the bet365 Stadium prior to Darnbrough's arrival. We've seen Ilicali's trusted aide Tan Kesler leave under a cloud, while the signing and subsequent doping ban of Oscar Zambrano has raised plenty of questions, as have the influx of players with mixed fortunes, many of which have come and gone without making any real impact, apart from on City's wage bill, which has naturally increased beyond recognition.
Since Ilicali arrived, transfers have been plentiful, to say the least. At last count, the Tigers had brought in 61 players across the six-and-a-half transfer windows dating back to January 2022 (inclusive of Kyle Joseph and Lincoln Henrique), many of which (26) have moved on and will move on before the window closes on February 3 at 11pm, while a host of players who were part of the League One-winning campaign have also left the club, while some still remain.
