Every Liverpool player available vs Lille as two missing amid new suspension worry
Liverpool has its sights set on the Champions League last-16 as it returns to action in Europe against Lille.
The Reds need just a point at Anfield on Tuesday to secure a top-eight finish and go straight through to the knockout stages without the need for a play-off. Arne Slot will be eager to get the job done at the first time of asking in order to give him some flexibility for the final league phase game against PSV Eindhoven next week.
The Liverpool boss is without two players for Tuesday's game, with Joe Gomez still out injured after limping off with a hamstring problem against West Ham last month, while Diogo Jota has now joined him in the treatment room.

Otherwise, it’s a full-strength squad that Slot will have to pick from, although he will have to keep an eye on Ibrahima Konate - and not just because the defender has admitted to needing painkillers in order to play recently.
Konate is Liverpool’s only player in danger of picking up a suspension, having been shown two yellow cards already during the league phase. Another against Lille tonight would see him miss the trip to Eindhoven, although that might not actually be too bad a scenario for the Reds if they can secure their qualification.
Alexis Mac Allister is back available after missing last month’s win over Girona through suspension, and he will likely take his place back in midfield.
With Jota out injured, there could be an opportunity for Darwin Nunez to start and follow up on his match-winning double at Brentford. He’ll be battling it out with Luis Diaz to start up front, while Federico Chiesa will be hoping to make just his second Champions League appearance for the Reds, with his first coming against AC Milan all the way back in September.
