As the 2025 Super Bowl kicks off with the Kansas City Chiefs playing for a historic NFL-first three-peat and the Philadelphia Eagles playing for their first title since the 2017 season, let's look back at some history.

While the Chiefs winning three consecutive Super Bowls would be a first, the Patriots and Steelers are still currently tied for the most Super Bowl championships overall, leading the NFL's rich history of teams to have hoisted the Lombardi Trophy at the end of the season.
