Ex-Blue pens new Premier League deal before making Championship loan switch
Former Ipswich Town loanee Louie Barry has joined Hull City on loan from Aston Villa until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old attacker was recalled by the Premier League side at the start of January after his impressive first half of the season at Stockport County in League One.
Barry also spent last season at Edgeley Park, helping them win the League Two title. He went on to score 15 goals in 23 games this campaign in the third tier.

He has since signed a contract extension at Villa Park and joined Ruben Selles' Tigers, who sit 19th in the Championship.
On signing for his new loan club, he said: "I'm really excited. I had a good start to the season and, hopefully, I can end it really well.
"I spoke to the gaffer and he said all the right things. I watched the Sheffield United game and that was a big turning point for me because everything the gaffer said was spot on and came to fruition.
"I just want to get out there now. I haven't played for about a month and I'm chomping at the bit to get out and hopefully score a few goals."
Barry made six appearances for Town during his brief loan spell from Villa at Portman Road in the first half of the 2021/22 season.
