Panicked Bayern Munich insider Raimund Hinko reckons a "f****** February' from hell is no excuse to give Harry Kane time off.

The Bavarian expert with an acid tongue has been left stewing after the England goal machine was removed from Saturday's 4-3 win over Holsten Kiel following Kane’s brace. The visitors scored three late on to add some late drama and Hinko reckons it would be an error for Vincent Kompany to allow Kane to ease up with a double header with Celtic in the Champions League on the horizon – sandwiched between a Bundesliga title blockbuster against Bayer Leverkusen.

Speaking in his My Bayern column, Hinko said: "I understand that a coach thinks differently. I can understand very well that Kompany needs a healthy Kane for the two play-off games against Celtic Glasgow. He needs you all this F***** February against Glasgow, Leverkusen, Frankfurt and Stuttgart. I would wrap you in cotton wool. Although, sometimes that is exactly the wrong thing to do."

And the veteran has Celtic on the brain as he reckons the famous chant which rings out at Celtic Park belongs to Glasgow and not Liverpool. He added: "I am already getting hot and cold because I can hear the Celtic fans singing 'You'll Never Walk Alone' in my ears. The original, of course. The fans in Liverpool and Dortmund are singing the copy, if you will."
