Newcastle United's quest for silverware in 2025 continues after their bruising 3-2 FA Cup fourth-round win over Birmingham City on Saturday night. Eddie Howe's Magpies had to stand up to some rough tactics from the League One side at St Andrews, but emerged victorious thanks to Joe Willock's second-half winner.

It means United are now the draw for the fifth round of the famous competition, as the teams are whittled down to just 16. Newcastle have already booked their place at Wembley in the Carabao Cup final, where they will face Liverpool at Wembley in March.

After beating Bromley and now Birmingham, they will take their place in the draw for the next stage of the FA Cup, with the final just three games away. A win in round five will mean a quarter-final spot and, with no European football to contend, domestic trophies are a major focus for United.
