Leeds United will begin their push for n FA Cup run by entertaining lower league opposition on Saturday evening at Elland Road. League Two strugglers Harrogate Town will make the short journey for a Cup derby match which will see Daniel Farke's men start as firm favourites to progress to the fourth round.

Leeds do not have the best FA Cup record this century and have not been past the fifth round for 22 years, with five successive third-round defeats until the past two years when they have been knocked out in the fifth round by Premier League opposition.

While Leeds have struggled, the FA Cup has seen a number of non-Premier League sides enjoy good runs to the latter rounds in recent years. What chance of Leeds doing just that? Well, the bookmakers have given the Whites a better chance of winning the Cup than a number of Premier league teams.

Leeds are big outsiders of course, but at 50/1 with Betfair to win the tournament, they're priced lower than the likes of recent winners Leicester City, or their fellow top-flight sides Southampton, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Ipswich Town, while being half the price of fellow promotion hopefuls Sheffield United and Middlesbrough.
