Fabio Silva told Rangers fans to 'shut up' with celebration as supporters all say the same thing

Rangers fans might be pleased with the result in beating Kilmarnock today but they seem less enamoured with Fabio Silva's goal celebration.

The on-loan forward was the man to hit the net when it looked as if Gers could struggle to break down their ten-man opponents, equalising on the stroke of half-time and allowing teammates Ben Davies, Tom Lawrence and John Souttar to make it four.

In celebration of his finish Silva made a 'talking' gesture towards the home fans before pointing to the name and number on his back. The £35million man has hid his detractors since coming in on loan from Wolves and the celebrations looked like a response to that. But supporters were far from impressed by it.

One, replying to a post from Rangers including a photo of Silva, said: "Take it down, pack his bag send him back now. No one is bigger than the club, his celebration to the fans was, SHOCKING. Wolves must be gutted spending that money."

Another wrote: "So Fabio Silva's decided as his celebration to have a go at his own fan base. Get his loan terminated tonight."

Another added: "No doubt about it. Silva told the fans to shut up with that celebration. Couldn't mark his neck with a blow torch. This will come back to haunt him unless his performances vastly improve."

This fan posted: "That Silva celebration is really something. Absolutely awful player. The fact someone paid £35 million for him really is insane."

A fifth commented: "Silva celebration sort of sums up this squad tbh Seems to be all about personal achievements rather than team achievements."
