More than 14,000 Reading supporters turned out on Saturday for the final home match before Christmas.

While events on the field didn't go to plan, with Noel Hunt's side lose 3-0 to Blackpool, festivities went to plan off it as the Young Royals celebrated their Christmas Party, Only the Poets launched the new Purple Turtle Stage and the Salvation Army provided music at half-time.
