Five players who could still leave Chelsea in January transfer window and one who should sign
Chelsea could still complete six transfers before the January transfer window slams shut on February 3 - but that may not be as many as the supporters will have hoped for.
Enzo Maresca has a burgeoning squad at Stamford Bridge, and with the UEFA Conference League the Italian has managed his players extremely well. However, there are too many fringe players not getting minutes and many will be looking for a way out in order to secure more game time elsewhere.
So far in January only Aaron Anselmino and Trevoh Chalobah have come into the club, but both were already on the books. The two players had their loan deals at Boca Juniors and Crystal Palace cut short.

It does not look like there will be too many incomings, with perhaps one signing to be made before February 3. Alejandro Garnacho looks to be the name most likely to arrive at Stamford Bridge, with the Blues keen to tie down a new left winger.
There is a need for a central defender and a striker too, but the feeling is that the Blues will wait until the summer transfer window to shore up those areas, with Chalobah's recall in particular helping the problems at the back.
The majority of transfer business, if any gets done between now and the end of the window will be outgoings.
Ben Chilwell is in need of a new club. Part of the Maresca bomb squad, the left-back does not have a future at Stamford Bridge and is looking for opportunities elsewhere.
Axel Disasi has fallen out of favour at the back and Chalobah's recall from loan speaks volumes about Maresca's faith in the centre-back. Cesare Casadei is another who does not appear to have a future under Maresca and could leave.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall was brought in from Leicester alongside Maresca, but has only started one Premier League game this season - that was the most recent game against Wolves, however, and he could potentially see more chances come his way as a result.
Carney Chukwuemeka is the fifth player who could head towards the exit before the January transfer window closes. The 21-year-old has plenty of suitors in the Premier League with Everton heavily linked.
