Fixture change sees Hull City face busy end to crucial month in survival fight
Hull City's hugely important visit to Cardiff City has been re-arranged for Wednesday, February 26, almost three weeks after the original game was set to take place.
The pair were due to face off at the Cardiff City Stadium on March 8, but that clashes with FA Cup fourth round weekend so the game was postponed, and will now take place in a busy end to the month.
City will take no part in the FA Cup after being knocked out on penalties by Doncaster Rovers, but the Bluebirds' 1-0 win at Sheffield United set up an away tie with Stoke City, who the Tigers play on home soil this weekend, giving Ruben Selles a valuable extra week on the training pitch after the visit of the Potters.

The trip to South Wales comes after the early kick-off at Sunderland on Saturday, February 22 and before the visit of bottom side Plymouth Argyle to the MKM Stadium, and caps a five-game month.
Tigers fans wishing to make the five-hour journey to the principality will still be able to benefit from free coach travel after owner Acun Ilicali made the generous gesture on New Year's Eve for the trip to Millwall and Cardiff.
Sixteen coaches headed to The Den to see a vital 1-0 away win, and boss Ruben Selles well hope for another big backing a long, long way from home against a side currently two points above the Tigers after seeing off fellow strugglers Derby County on Saturday afternoon.
City won the corresponding fixture at the MKM Stadium by four goals to one, on a day the Tigers celebrated their 120th birthday, courtesy of a Mohamed Belloumi brace and one each from Oscar Zambrano and Chris Bedia as Tim Walter collected his second straight win as boss. None of those players will feature in the return fixture, while manager Walter has since left the club.
City's February now looks like this...
Saturday 1: Stoke City - home
Wednesday 12: Burnley - away
Saturday 15: Norwich City - home
Saturday 22: Sunderland - away
Wednesday 26: Cardiff City - away
