Footage has been released after a shocking incident at an Old Firm clash in Glasgow.

Police have released CCTV images of a man they would like to chat to as part of an ongoing investigation into an assault.

The incident happened at Ibrox Stadium, the Gers home ground in the Southside, during the Rangers v Celtic game on Thursday, January 2.

The man is described as being white and having short dark hair.

He was wearing a dark-coloured jacket with a hood.

Constable Kevin Davidson of Police Scotland said: “Officers are keen to talk to this man as we believe he may have information which could assist with our enquiries.

"The man pictured or anyone who may recognise him is asked to contact us.”

A spokesperson for Police Scotland added: "Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting reference 0566 of January 2, 2025.
