Forest Green Rovers have been drawn against either Biggleswade Town or Oxford City in the fifth round of the FA Trophy.

Following progression to the next round of the non-league competition after Joe Quigley’s brace against Chorley on Saturday, Rovers will play either Southern League Premier Division Central, Biggleswade or National League North Oxford City.

Rovers will have to wait until tomorrow evening to find out where they will be travelling to on Saturday, February 1.

It is to be a first meeting in the FA Trophy between whichever side Forest Green will eventually play against. The winner of the tie will receive £6,000 and the losers will receive £1,750.

The initial tie between the two sides was postponed on Saturday due to a frozen pitch like many others in the draw.

Biggleswade currently sit rock bottom of the Southern League Premier Central, 16 points off safety.

Oxford City currently sit 18th in the National League North, managed by Ross Jenkins, who briefly had a spell as Boreham Wood boss.

With it being the last 16 of the competition, Rovers have the opportunity to reach the quarter final for the first time since 2008/09 when they lost 4-0 away to eventual winners, Stevenage.

Before that, the last time they were in the fifth round was in the 2002/03 season when they beat Dover Athletic 3-0 and then were knocked out by Havant & Waterlooville in the quarter final.

Prior to the 2-0 win against National League North side, Chorley, Rovers overcame fellow National League outfit, Braintree Town in the third round after a penalty shootout win.
