Forest Green Rovers sign Liverpool youngster Fabian Mrozek on loan until the end of the season

Forest Green Rovers have signed Fabian Mrozek on loan from Liverpool until the end of the season.

The 21-year-old joins the club after being Jed Ward was recalled by Bristol Rovers on Monday night.

Mrozek had a loan spell with Swedish club IF Brommapojkarna last season, making his debut against IFK Göteborg in the Allsvenskan.

The Polish goalkeeper had youth career spells with MKS Kluczbork and FC Wrocław Academy before signing for Liverpool in 2020.

Mrozek made frequent appearances for Liverpool Under-21s in the Premier League 2, Division 1, starting 16 times for the reds last season.

He appeared on the bench in an international friendly for Poland Under-20s against Portugal Under-20

Despite not making his first-team debut for Liverpool yet, he has been on the bench on multiple occasions in the Europa League against the likes of Royale Union Saint-Gilloise and Sparta Praha last season.

Rovers travel to Dagenham & Redbridge on Tuesday evening in the National League (7.45pm kick-off).
