Former Bournemouth goalkeeper joins Motherwell
Motherwell have made a deadline day swoop to boost their goalkeeping department with Calum Ward joining on a deal until the end of the season.
The 24-year-old came through at Bournemouth and has spent the last few years playing Finalnd for HIFK and AC Oulu.
Ward will provide competition for fellow shot-stoppers Ellery Balcombe, Archie Mair and first-choice goalie Aston Oxborough, who is currently out injured.

Ward told the club website: "It’s great to get this over the line. I feel I can add serious competition, which I think is a good thing for everyone here.
"I’ve already met the players and they have all been very welcoming and friendly, I feel integrated already. From what I have been told, this is a great football club and I’m looking forward to the rest of the season.”
Meanwhile, it looks like Motherwell are set to hold on to teenage star Lennon Miller with Celtic reportedly no longer pursuing the 18-year-old in this window.
