Former Carlisle United youth prospect Ryan Carr has made another National League move.

The 20-year-old has linked up with Ebbsfleet United.

Carr has joined the fifth tier's bottom side on loan from Premier League club Ipswich Town until the end of the season.

It is a second loan move of the campaign for the ex-Blues academy player, who had a spell with Gateshead in the first half of the season.

Last term, meanwhile, he was on loan with Aveley in National League South.

Carr was an unused substitute in his first game with Ebbsfleet on Saturday, a 1-1 draw at Woking.

The right-sided player, who was initially on Newcastle United's books, came through United's youth team and made his first-team debut aged 17 in September 2022 in the Papa John's Trophy against Fleetwood Town.

The following January he made a transfer deadline day move to Ipswich and went into the Tractor Boys' Under-21 side.

His team-mates at Ebbsfleet, who sit four points adrift at the bottom of the National League, include the former Carlisle trialist striker Kwame Thomas.
