Nottingham Forest are said to be eyeing up former Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham as they plot their summer transfer business.

Strengthening their attacking ranks will be a priority for the Reds at the end of the season. Adding a front man has been on the agenda for the past two windows but the club have been unable to get a deal over the line.

Come the summer, Forest will hope to be planning for a European campaign as Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are currently well-placed in the Premier League table. And it seems Abraham is among the players they are keeping tabs on.

According to TBR Football, the Reds are monitoring the Roma forward while he is on loan at AC Milan. However, they are not the only English side being credited with an interest.

West Ham United are reportedly “considering” a summer swoop for the 27-year-old. Newcastle United, Fulham, Everton and Leeds United are said to also have him on their radar.

Ironically, a former Forest target could have an impact on Abraham’s situation at the end of the campaign. It is said a permanent switch to Milan is unlikely, not least because Santiago Gimenez - who the Reds tried to sign last summer - made the move to the San Siro from Feyenoord before the winter window closed.

Abraham joined Roma from Chelsea for a reported £34 million fee in 2021. He has made more than 80 league appearances and has scored 26 goals in the league for the Italian outfit.

He joined Milan on loan last August and so far has notched twice in 19 Serie A appearances. Across all competitions, he has scored eight goals and weighed in with five assists from 33 games.

TBR Football claim the Chelsea academy graduate is “keen” on a return to the Premier League. It is said he wants to add to his collection of England caps and is eager to impress recently-appointed Three Lions boss Thomas Tuchel ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
