Former Derby County winger secures transfer and says 'it's time to buckle down'
Former Derby County winger Jordon Ibe has found himself a new club by signing a deal with seventh-tier non-league club Hungerford Town.
The former Liverpool talent last played for Ebbsfleet in the National League but has now landed a move to Town who play in the Southern League Premier South.
Ibe was a firm favourite at Derby in his first spell at the club where he made 24 appearances, scoring five goals during a loan from Liverpool. He subsequently earned a £15m move to Bournemouth before returning to Derby on a free transfer in September 2020.

But he only lasted one season before he left via mutual consent and opened up on his battle with depression. Since then he has had spells with Adanaspor and Ebbsfleet.
Discussing his move to Hungerford, Ibe said: "It is an honour to Hungerford Town for taking me in and believing in my dream. It is time to buckle down and show the ability that I still have. With hard work, it can take you anywhere."
Manager Danny Robinson added: "I am absolutely delighted to welcome Jordon to Bulpit Lane. Jordon comes to us with a massive pedigree and wealth of experience.
"By his own admission he wants to get back going again and we will be doing everything we can to get him smiling and enjoy his football. A serious talent that we are all looking forward to seeing in a Hungerford shirt. Welcome Jordon."
