Former Liverpool midfielder Gary McAllister left 'shaken up' after assault in Leeds
Former Liverpool star Gary McAllister was left ‘shaken up’ after being assaulted in Leeds on Saturday, according to reports.
McAllister, now 54, had watched from the crowd as a blast-from-the-past Liverpool team took on AC Milan’s legends in a friendly.
Andrea Pirlo scored a trademark free-kick as the Italians fought back from 2-0 down, only for Steven Gerrard to score the winner in the final minute of the game.

He was then, The Sun reports, punched in the face and fell to the floor as his wife suffered a wrist injury trying to fend the attacker off.
McAllister was taken to Leeds General Infirmary, where he was given ‘at least 10 stitches’ in his top lip.
He is quoted by The Sun as saying: ‘It’s in the hands of the police,’ while they quote a source as saying the former Coventry and Leeds man was left ‘shaken up’.
