Former United midfielder Anderson joins Turkish second division club
Former Manchester United midfielder Anderson has announced a move to Turkish second division club Adana Demirspor.
The former Brazilian international left Internacional after spending three years in his homeland Brazil following his exit from Manchester United.
He had spent half a season on loan at Fiorentina when David Moyes decided he was surplus to requirements. It was a disappointing end to a career that promised a great deal, winning the Champions League in his first season – scoring in the penalty shootout against Chelsea – and enjoying regular league success under Alex Ferguson.
His new club used Twitter to announce his arrival in esoteric fashion:

They also produced a more prosaic photo and handshake. The club are based in Adana, in the south east of Turkey, and they currently play in the second division.

Anderson joined Manchester United from Gremio, and returned to Internacional, before playing for Coritiba on loan in 2017. While at Internacional he had to leave the pitch after 36 minutes on his debut, in order to receive oxygen.
