Manchester United's first successor to Sir Alex Ferguson, David Moyes, has gone full circle and rejoined Everton 11 and a half years after trading Goodison Park for Old Trafford.

After disastrous stints at United, Real Sociedad and Sunderland, Moyes managed to reinvigorate his coaching career at West Ham United. He delivered them a European trophy after winning the Conference League and was unfairly sacked in the summer as the East London club attempted to have ideas above their station.

Back on Merseyside, Moyes has the opportunity to really show West Ham what they are missing as he attempts to pull Everton away from relegation fears and keep them in the top flight for their first season at their new stadium. To help him do this, United could be tempted to offer their former boss a quartet of players who could do a job for Everton as well as provide space in the Reds' squad for new recruits.

MEN Sport has taken a look at the options that United could offer Moyes in his new adventure.

Antony

Perhaps top of the list of players United will be looking to offload this winter is Antony. Things just have not worked out for the Brazilian at Old Trafford and it is hard to see how they could possibly improve moving forward with his biggest supporter in Erik ten Hag gone.

The new system Ruben Amorim has employed clearly does not fit the winger and a loan with option to buy seems like the only future for Antony. A move to Everton would likely appeal to the player if not the Merseyside club's fans.

However, a fresh start away from the pressures of United could do the Brazilian a world of good.

Tyrell Malacia

It is hard not to feel sorry for Malacia after his lengthy injury lay-off saw him miss the entirety of Ten Hag's second season at the club. Who knows, if he had avoided an injury issue, he could have gone from strength to strength last season.

Instead, he finds himself with a new manager playing a system that he does not seem suited for. A loan would be ideal for Malacia to give him those much-needed minutes in the legs.

If he was to perform at Goodison Park, there is a good chance that his stock could rise and allow him to be sold for a reasonable fee in the summer.

Toby Collyer

Collyer's future at the club could change if Casemiro decides to leave United in the summer. With the Saudi Pro League reportedly close to snapping him up, the Brazilian's exit would open up a space for Collyer in the squad.

But should he choose to stay for the remainder of the campaign, a switch for Collyer to Everton would be ideal for his development. There are high hopes for the defensive midfielder among the United ranks and a spell under Moyes could aid his move up the ranks.

Joshua Zirkzee

Should Zirkzee leave this winter, it could open a door for United to bring in a centre-forward. After jeers greeted his departure against Newcastle, the Dutchman has been in need of an exit with a return to Italy mooted.

Everton may also see the benefits of taking on Zirkzee for the remainder of the campaign considering the striker's desire to prove the doubters wrong. Adding an extra man to their strikeforce would surely not be sniffed at by Moyes and Zirkzee would no doubt welcome the opportunity to be taken out of the spotlight.
