Frank Lampard has made four changes to his Coventry City side to face Ipswich Town in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

There are two changes to the back five, with Luis Binks coming in at centre-half and Jay Dasilva at left wing-back for Jake Bidwell, while it looks as though Joel Latineadiere will shuffle across to occupy the right wing-back slot on a day when Milan van Ewijk is rested on the bench.

Bobby Thomas and Liam Kitching continue in the Sky Blues back three behind Oliver Dovin who retains his place in goal on a day when two senior keepers, Brad Collins and Ben Wilson, are named among the substitutes.

The midfield sees Josh Eccles come in for Victor Torp, while Jamie Allen continues in the starting line-up as new signing Matt Grimes is cup-tied. Jack Rudoni is expected to continue his role on the left of the midfield trio while Tatsuhiro Sakamoto – who replaces striker Ellis Simms – could play just behind lone front man Brandon Thomas-Asante in a 3-5-1-1 formation.

Simms and Norman Bassette provide striking back-up from the bench where there’s one notable absentee, with Bidwell not named in the matchday squad, presumed either ill of injured.

City: Oliver Dovin; Bobby Thomas, Liam Kitching, Luis Binks; Joel Latibeaudiere, Josh Eccles, Jamie Allen, Jack Rudoni, Jay Dasilva; Tatsuhiro Sakamoto; Brandon Thomas-Asante.

Subs: Brad Collins (GK), Ben Wilson (GK), Milan van Ewijk, Victor Torp, Jack Burroughs, Norman Bassette, Raphael Borges Rodrigues, Ellis Simms, Greg Sandiford.
