Frank Lampard has made one change to his Coventry City team that go in search of only their third league win on the road this season, with fifth placed Blackburn Rovers standing in their way.

That means Oliver Dovin continues in goal ahead of Brad Collins and fit-again Ben Wilson on a night when the Sky Blues head coach sticks with a 3-5-2 formation, with Joel Latibeaudiere, Luis Binks and Liam Kitching making up the back three.

Milan van Ewijk continues at right wing-back but Jake Bidwell comes back into the starting line-up in place of Jay Dasilva, who drops to the bench.

The midfield sees Lampard keep faith with Jamie Allen, who again takes the skipper’s armband, and Victor Torp with Jack Rudoni the more advanced of the three behind the front two of Brandon Thomas-Asante and Ellis Simms who start together for the third consecutive game as they attempt to forge a partnership. Norman Bassette and Fabio Tavares provide striking back-up from the bench.

City: Oliver Dovin; Joel Latibeaudiere, Luis Binks, Liam Kitching; Milan van Ewijk, Jamie Allen, Victor Torp, Jay Dasilva; Jack Rudoni; Brandon Thomas-Asante, Ellis Simms.

Subs: Brad Collins (GK); Bobby Thomas, Jay Dasilva, Josh Eccles, Norman Bassette, Tatsuhiro Sakamoto, Raphael Borges Rodrigues, Fabio Tavares, Gregory Sandiford Junior.
