Fulham confirm Tosin Adarabioyo to leave club as Chelsea move beckons
Fulham remain in contract talks with Willian as they try to convince the Brazilian to stay on next season, while Tosin Adarabioyo will leave the club as he prepares to join Chelsea.
Willian, 35, ignored transfer interest from Saudi Arabia in order to sign a one-year extension at Craven Cottage last summer, and the club hope he will now do so again.
Fulham boss Marco Silva still sees the veteran former Chelsea and Arsenal winger as part of his plans, but he’s considering his options with his current deal set to expire.
Willian, 35, has scored 10 goals in 67 appearances for Fulham since joining from Brazilian club Corinthians in 2022.
Bobby De Cordova-Reid is also due to become a free agent and remains in talks with Fulham over a new deal.
The club confirmed on Wednesday 11 summer exits from the club, including goalkeeper Marek Rodak after 11 years and Chelsea-bound defender Tosin, who is set to make the short move to Stamford Bridge on a free transfer after undergoing a medical this week.
He is expected to become the first signing of the new Enzo Maresca era in west London after Chelsea hijacked Newcastle’s move for the former Manchester City centre-back.
Tyrese Francois and Terence Kongolo will also leave Fulham, while Chelsea’s Armando Broja and AC Milan’s Fode Ballo-Toure have both departed after respective loan spells.
Seven senior and Under-21 Fulham players have had optional one-year extensions in their contracts triggered, including Dutch right-back Kenny Tete.
The club are waiting on responses from Harvey Araujo and George Wickens after offering both players new contracts.
