Fulham's 2-1 victory over Wigan Athletic on Saturday ensures Reading will not face a midweek trip to Lancashire next month.

The Whites overcame the Latics at the Brick Community Stadium in the FA Cup fourth round while the Royals were being held to a 0-0 draw at Huddersfield Town.

While three of the next four fixtures are on home turf at the SCL Stadium, the Royals face a trip to Wigan in March.

Set for Saturday, March 1, this match would have been rescheduled for a midweek had Shaun Maloney's side won against Marco Silva's side.

However, this fixture will continue to take place as originally scheduled, kicking off at 3pm.

Famously, Maloney was playing for Wigan as they won the FA Cup in 2013, the year they were relegated from the Premier League.

Last season, the Royals lost 1-0 at Wigan, Thelo Asgaard scoring the winning goal.

Tickets are not yet available for the fixture.
