Full Arsenal squad available to Mikel Arteta vs Tottenham as injury list grows
It’s back to Premier League action for Arsenal this week following the disappointment of their FA Cup exit at the weekend. The Gunners were defeated by Manchester United via a penalty shootout as the two teams couldn’t be separated after 120 minutes.
For Arsenal, they have the perfect opportunity to bounce back when they host Tottenham at the Emirates Stadium in the second North London Derby of the season on Wednesday (8pm kick-off). The Gunners came out as 1-0 winners in the reverse fixture back in September thanks to a 64th-minute Gabriel goal.
Arsenal weren’t the only side to go into extra time over the weekend. Tottenham needed an extra 30 minutes to overcome National League side Tamworth in their FA Cup clash on Sunday afternoon.

As well as the exit from the competition, Mikel Arteta was handed another big blow during the game against Man United, with forward Gabriel Jesus stretchered off. It has since been confirmed that the Brazilian has suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury, ruling him out for a significant time.
With the forward added to the injury list, it has prompted talk that Arsenal could turn to the transfer window for reinforcements. However, any new additions won’t come in time for the North London Derby.
Ahead of the match, here is a look at the options available to Arteta. Full-back Riccardo Calafiori remains a slight doubt with the defender facing a race against time to be available.
